A Little About the Wait...The "waiting list" for just the right Schnauzer can sometimes be long, especially if you prefer a 1 to 2 year old schnauzer -- this is a fairly common preference. The wait is not based on seniority, it rather depends on how "fussy" you are - among other factors. One particular individual has been waiting a long, long time for a black female, with cropped ears, weighing less than 12 pounds. We've had several black females, but none that fit her specification exactly. We also have no way of knowing how many dogs will come and go from week to week. Occasionally, there is no wait for a wonderful older dog or a mixed bred schnauzer. Whatever the wait, we will make sure to find the Schnauzer that is just the right fit for you!If you want a puppy, the lady in our dog club, who keeps track of which breeders will have puppies, is Mary Kheenel. She can be contacted at 480-964-0691. A good breeder will generally, but not always, have a waiting list before the puppies are even born. Puppies can cost from $800 to $1,000.
